What you'll do

Perform routine technical operational tasks and troubleshoot user-reported issues within established SLAs.
Independently resolve known issues and 80% of new issues, including complex data investigations.
Monitor and recover all processes to maintain environment stability.
Coordinate with Level 3 and Development teams to resolve production environment issues.
Collect environment improvement points and provide actionable plans to Development teams and application owners.
Plan and coordinate release knowledge sharing, migrations, disaster recovery, and documentation.
Develop support scripts and scripts to simplify issue investigation processes.
Lead new implementations, rollouts, and provide training for new team members.

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in application development and/or application support.
3+ years of experience in Ab Initio and database-related projects.
3+ years of experience with Unix commands, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ETL, job scheduling tools, and system monitoring tools.
Knowledge of IT service process ITIL and a DevOps mindset.
Knowledge of Ab Initio, Snowflake, and shell scripting (preferred).
Knowledge of Finance accounting domain and basic understanding of financial markets and products.
Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
