Application Support Lead Analyst Vice President

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end production support for mission-critical enterprise applications to ensure 24/7 availability and performance.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes including root cause analysis and long-term resolution planning.
• Drive the adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI techniques for anomaly detection and automated runbook execution.
• Manage and mentor a team of application support engineers while overseeing hiring and career development.
• Architect and implement advanced monitoring and observability solutions to proactively identify system issues.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical production incidents across global teams and time zones.
• Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and security requirements by maintaining robust internal controls.
• Manage budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships to align with strategic technology roadmaps.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required; Master's degree preferred.
• 13+ years of experience in Production Application Support roles managing enterprise-level, mission-critical applications.
• 6-10 years of experience with practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
• SME-level expertise in SQL (complex queries, performance tuning) and Unix/Linux administration with advanced Shell scripting.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
• Proven experience managing teams, including mentoring, performance management, and leading technical teams in 24/7 environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with containerization platforms like OpenShift and Kubernetes, and messaging systems like Kafka or Tibco EMS.
• Deep expertise in relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
