Department Overview

The Infrastructure Engineer II on the Global Restaurant Technology Platform team (RTP) is part of the Restaurant Infrastructure & Operations Platform team within GTIO. This role reports to the Senior Technical Platform Lead RTP and is responsible for infrastructure engineering / development, integration with other Restaurant and Enterprise systems and setting patterns and direction for systems engineering. The RTP team’s scope includes architecture, design and engineering of tools, processes and standards and services related to Windows Server and Client Operating Systems (OS), configuration management, virtual machines and containers as well as hardware (specifications) and peripherals. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology leader to help shape the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services for the entire McDonalds environment.

Duties

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft OS and best practice configuration aligned to securing golden images.
  • Experienced with automated OS deployments and modularized image development and structuring.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Server (must-have: Microsoft Windows, nice to have: Linux) and Client (Microsoft Windows, Linux).
  • Knowledge of Hardware and Peripheral driver concepts and implementations.
  • Knowledgeable in scripting languages, PowerShell, Bash.
  • Experience with Python, .NET and C#.
  • Experience in automating business and technical processes (i.e. Ansible).

  • Experience with defining and managing GitHub best practices, including repository structure standards, branching strategies, pull‑request workflows, and code review guidelines.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of device configuration, software installation and security patching.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with monitoring tools (i.e. New Relic). Experience with Tanium and Tanium modules – Performance, Comply, Automate.
  • Understanding of DevOps in large-scale distributed environments.
  • Understanding of cloud solutions in one or more major cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experienced with building dashboards and reporting, and KPI definition and measurement.
  • Experience with some or all of these cloud concepts: Serverless Architecture, Container Architecture, Storage, and Identity and Access Management.
  • Experience with IT Infrastructure / Platform and Cloud development, including:

  • Server, Edge, IOT Compute

  • Virtualization, Containerization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and managing infrastructure platforms that address global complexities, meet security standards, and support differences between markets/regions.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • Experience with on-premise, Edge and Cloud platform design patterns and vendor platform capabilities; experience deploying Edge or Cloud tools and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and partner across product and platform teams within a global engineering organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and navigate to drive results within a globally distributed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to set up, manage, and facilitate Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, including experience with languages such as C# and PowerShell including object-oriented design.
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to infrastructure architecture, engineering, and design of new and current systems.
  • Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm.
  • Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
  • Proven leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.

Department Overview

The API Management Platform Engineer II helps design, build, and maintain the API strategy across EDAA. They are focused on scalability and delivery to enable API powered data movement across the organization. This role develops the governance, documentation, and self-service tools needed to ensure APIs are secure, available, and aligned with best practices to unlock a robust API ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a scalable and secure API management infrastructure to support business needs and platform growth

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting experience and capabilities. Extensive knowledge of Group Policy Objects(GPOs), Organizational Unit management, and Security Groups.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices, including risk management, access controls, andsecure coding. Extensive experience and advanced knowledge in implementing Windows security concepts,policies, and least–privilege design principles.

As a Full Stack Engineer II on our Identity and Access Engineering team, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust identity and access management (IAM) solutions. You will be a key member of an agile squad, continuously delivering secure and scalable features that protect critical information and resources across our global enterprise.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of IAM principles, hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Azure native services, DevSecOps practices, and API integration—particularly with platforms like Saviynt along with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a global IAM platform at the world’s largest restaurant company.

Duties

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using C#, .NET, and Azure technologies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable IAM solutions, including access governance, RBAC, and SOD.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Partner with solution architects to create detailed design specifications and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
  • Build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications integrating IAM protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and SCIM.
  • Manage identity lifecycle processes and implement robust access controls across systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack (frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure).
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and participate in regular audits and reviews.
  • Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, including pipeline creation, testing, and deployment automation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Stay current with emerging IAM technologies and Azure services to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA engineers, and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development, preferably in IAM-focused environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript,), SQL and NoSQL Databases.
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs, and microservices design patterns.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with Azure services such as AKS, Docker, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Azure DevSecOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of IAM principles and protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SCIM.
  • Experience integrating third-party IAM platforms such as Saviynt, SailPoint, or Okta via APIs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of application security practices (Snyk, SAST, DAST and SCA)
  • 1+ years of experience contributing to system architecture and design, including scalability and reliability.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions, write design and requirement documents, and manage offshore development teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across application layers.
  • Certifications in IAM, Azure, or related technologies are a plus.

Department Overview

The Commercial Products & Platforms team develops digital experiences and global technology platforms that delight our customers and enable them to order on their terms—seamlessly, reliably, and conveniently across mobile, web, kiosks, and future channels.

As Senior Manager, Engineering, Conversational Commerce Platform & SRE, you will lead teams building and operating cutting-edge capabilities for ordering at the drive thru and beyond. You’ll shape the technical evolution of our platforms, working with external AI providers and internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions. You will be a critical partner to product management, UX, architecture, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure our solutions are performant, scalable, and built for the future.

Duties

Platform & SRE Leadership

  • Lead internal and vendor engineering teams responsible for the Conversational Commerce platform, ensuring high-quality technical solutions, platform scalability, and reliability.
  • Oversee Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including deployment readiness, environment management, and incident response.
  • Define and maintain support processes, deployment playbooks, and continuous improvement cycles based on live feedback.
  • Lead war room support for real-time issue resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of all platform services.

DevOps & CI/CD Excellence

  • Plan and coordinate releases, defining scope, objectives, and timelines in alignment with business priorities.
  • Align stakeholders across development, QA, operations, and product teams for seamless delivery.
  • Implement and carry out version control, coding standards, and branching strategies.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Maintain consistent pre-production and production environments.
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Integrate pipelines with external tools and platforms (e.g., Sesame, HME, Edge).
  • Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management to ensure high availability and scalability.

Monitoring, Quality, and Security

  • Implement real-time monitoring and observability (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk, New Relic).
  • Track performance, error rates, and system health post-deployment.
  • Enforce quality gates, integrate DevSecOps practices, and perform vulnerability scans and license compliance checks.
  • Define and automate rollback and recovery strategies for failed deployments.

Cloud & Automation Expertise

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for AWS and Google Cloud environments.
  • Lead automation initiatives to optimize deployment, monitoring, and operations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with product management, operations, and market teams to create innovative solutions that elevate the customer experience and augment crew efficiency.
  • Serve as the technical liaison for integration partners and vendors, facilitating solution reviews, alignment meetings, and escalation management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in hands-on technical roles with progressive growth in responsibilities, including software engineering, DevOps, and SRE.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams in Agile environments.
  • Deep familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, SRE, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response in production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), Infrastructure as Code, and automation tools.
  • Experience with conversational commerce platforms or similar digital customer experience solutions.

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Strategy & Analytics team. In this role, you will help power the insights that develop how McDonald’s protects its global ecosystem. Our team delivers value through dashboards and visualizations that highlight the impact, efficiency, and opportunities within Global Cyber Security. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key part in redefining raw data into clear narratives that guide decision‑making and showcase security performance across our organization and global markets.

This role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, and analysis to support dashboards, metrics, and reporting that provide awareness of organizational priorities and security posture. You will work closely with service teams and collaborators to assemble high‑quality data, develop scalable reporting solutions, and deliver insights that enable leaders to make informed, data‑driven decisions.

Duties

  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Smartsheet, and Excel; translate data into clear, consumable visualizations for collaborators

  • Apply data quality checks, documentation practices, and governance standards to maintain trusted datasets
