Senior DevOps Engineer

What you'll do

• Build, redesign, and manage large-scale, globally distributed infrastructure using modern Reliability Engineering and DevOps methods.
• Set up large-scale search index systems, real-time messaging platforms, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based technologies, including NoSQL databases, web services, and orchestration services.
• Maintain and optimize the search engine by developing new features and benchmarking performance solutions.
• Implement technologies such as Elastic Search, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Apache Spark.
• Architect and optimize infrastructure costs while rolling out security features in the cloud.
• Create one-click setup solutions for all existing and new development projects.

What we're looking for

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of meaningful experience in industry.
• Experience building, deploying, and managing infrastructures in public clouds like AWS or Azure.
• Excellent programming and automation skills in Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell, Go, or Java.
• Experience operating and scaling No-SQL technologies including Elastic Search, Kafka, HBase, MongoDB, and Apache Spark.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix System Administration.
• Experience with Git, Perforce, and Jenkins, and exposure to cloud/virtualization technologies.
• Good knowledge of Cloud well-architected frameworks and cloud build principles.
