Engineering Manager, iOS Video Applications

What you'll do

• Lead, grow, and support a team of senior iOS engineers through mentorship and career development.
• Set technical and quality standards for the iOS organization to ensure architectural coherence and performance.
• Coach engineers on the effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to shape product strategy and make scope decisions.
• Translate technical, product, and design perspectives to guide the team through ambiguous problem spaces.
• Create a safe-to-experiment culture by validating assumptions early and learning from real user feedback.
• Represent the iOS team in organization-level planning to advocate for technical excellence and investment.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience shipping Apple applications, specifically delivering complex, production-scale iOS products.
• Experience managing and growing teams of senior engineers, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development.
• Technical fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and the iOS SDK to review and influence architectural decisions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools at a team level to set workflows and guardrails.
• Product instincts and UX sensibility, including familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly between technical, product, and design perspectives.
• Understanding of mobile video editing workflows (preferred).
• Experience building creative tools, video production software, or editing workflows (preferred).
