WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Business Systems Operations Specialist, you will be a crucial member of the Business Systems team. You will be responsible for managing the timely activation, provisioning, and deactivation/deprovisioning of our customers' Braze dashboard instances, as well as associated Braze products and services, and governing access to various features of the Braze platform. Your role ensures that our customers have the right tools and access to features to maximize their engagement strategies in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities may include analyzing customer data, playing a key role in the team’s day-to-day operations and initiatives, leading projects, and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Customer Dashboard Management: activate and deactivate customer dashboard instances as per the requirements and ensure seamless transitions
  • Feature Access Governance: oversee and manage access to various features within the Braze platform, ensuring compliance with customer contracts and internal policies
  • Internal Operational Support: provide timely and effective support to internal stakeholders regarding platform access and feature availability, as well as other day-to-day operational support that may be required to drive value to both internal and external customers
  • Cross Team Alignment: work closely with our Product, Finance, Sales, Support Engineering, Customer Success, Services, and Engineering teams to ensure customer needs are met and platform configurations are optimized, aligned to customer contract start and end dates
  • Documentation Creation: maintain accurate records of customer instances and feature access, ensuring all changes are documented and auditable
  • Process Adherence and Improvement: identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency, and contribute to the development of best practices for platform activation and feature access management
  • Training & Education: assist in training internal teams on platform access and feature management processes

  • Time Management: ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Operational Efficiency: strong organizational skills to handle various requests and platform configurations against competing urgencies and timeframes
  • Adaptability: flexibility to adapt to changing customer requirements and platform updates, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
  • Ethical Standards: commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in managing customer data and platform access. Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Problem Solving: strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to improve processes
  • Data Management: ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of customer instances and feature access while understanding data privacy and security best practices

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer operations or support role, preferably within the SaaS or MarTech industry
  • Strong understanding of customer engagement platforms and their functionalities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using CRM and customer support tools
  • Familiarity with the Braze platform is a huge plus

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Team Overview: The Internal Audit team is transforming its assurance capabilities to focus on continuous monitoring, auditing and predictive risk insights. We are a technical, forward-looking function responsible for designing and deploying automation, advanced analytics, and AI agents to provide continuous assurance and objective value across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications that deliver continuous auditing capabilities to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled workflows and agents for evidence collection and anomaly surfacing, utilizing tools like Google AI Studio.
  • Write, test, and maintain robust scripts (Python, SQL) for data extraction, manipulation, automated control testing, and data quality validation across source systems.
  • Maintain and optimize existing continuous monitoring infrastructure built using Workiva Chains and Wdata for financial and operational controls.
  • Write clean, scalable code across the entire stack, primarily using TypeScript for the front end and Python for the back end.
  • Manage the deployment lifecycle for all automations, ensuring code integrity, establishing observability, and owning the CI/CD process via GitHub.
  • Develop APIs and connectors to source systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS) and design code-based control tests (Python, SQL).
  • Partner with auditors as a Technical SME to interpret control objectives and ensure automation accuracy.
  • Produce concise engineering documentation (readme/runbooks), not traditional audit workpapers
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills are essential.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a pragmatic, full-stack software engineer who is passionate about applying technical expertise to solve complex risk and compliance challenges. You thrive in an environment where your outputs are code, and you are eager to take ownership of both building and maintaining mission-critical tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience building automation or data solutions in production (software engineering, data engineering, or internal tools).
  • Demonstrated experience in full-stack development using Angular, TypeScript, and Python.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying LLM-backed features and building/maintaining AI workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience with Git and GitHub for version control and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining and troubleshooting Workiva Chains and Wdata continuous monitoring pipelines.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills (performance-aware queries, modular code, unit tests).
  • Experience integrating REST/Graph APIs and working with JSON payloads at scale.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience developing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (e.g., Cloud Run, CloudSQL, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with SOX/ITGC concepts; ability to reason about audit evidence, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Security/IAM Basics: practical experience with least-privilege, service accounts, and data protection concepts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Use robust software engineering best practices to design, implement, and improve modular components in a cutting-edge product
  • Collaborate closely with other teams (e.g., UI/UX, Product, Research, Implementation) to create scalable and dynamic Braze product components
  • Apply your extensive knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript and their ecosystem to build a clean, reliable, and extensible user interface for the web
  • Influence Braze’s product strategy and roadmap
  • Support teams implementing Braze for customers to ensure their success
  • Tech stack:
  • Web: TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue.js (v3) and its ecosystem (VueCLI with webpack), Node.js, Strapi, PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3
  • Data Science/ML Pipeline: Python (Pandas, TF, Fast API, Great Expectations), SQL (not required for this role although some experience with Python would be helpful)
  • We write well-tested, type-hinted, documented, modular code and use pre-commit hooks, CI/CD, and issue tracking for development

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $129,600 and $232,200/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $144,000 and $258,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Use robust software engineering best practices to design, implement, and improve modular components in a cutting-edge product
  • Collaborate closely with other teams (e.g., UI/UX, Product, Research, Implementation) to create scalable and dynamic Braze product components
  • Apply your extensive knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript and their ecosystem to build a clean, reliable, and extensible user interface for the web
  • Influence Braze’s product strategy and roadmap
  • Support teams implementing Braze for customers to ensure their success
  • Tech stack:
  • Web: TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue.js (v3) and its ecosystem (VueCLI with webpack), Node.js, Strapi, PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3
  • Data Science/ML Pipeline: Python (Pandas, TF, Fast API, Great Expectations), SQL (not required for this role although some experience with Python would be helpful)
  • We write well-tested, type-hinted, documented, modular code and use pre-commit hooks, CI/CD, and issue tracking for development

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $129,600 and $232,200/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $144,000 and $258,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $129,600 and $232,200/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $144,000 and $258,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Data Ingestion & Transformation (CDIT) team. This team is vital to Braze's growth, owning multiple systems that enable customers to quickly and successfully integrate their data with our platform. CDIT focuses on two main product areas. The primary one is Braze’s Cloud Data Ingestion, which allows customers to seamlessly leverage the data in their cloud warehouse in Braze. Our system processes trillions of data points annually and integrates with an ever-growing variety of Braze features. We also own Data Transformation, a platform for customizing the flow of data from external sources into Braze. By increasing the comprehensiveness and ease of use of these systems, the engineer who joins us will have a direct and meaningful impact on our customers' success and the company's growth.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 6+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on building scalable web applications. While our primary focus is on the back-end, we own our features end-to-end and regularly deliver front-end experiences
  • Experienced technical leader with a track record of driving architectural decisions and contributing to technical strategy
  • Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
  • A self-starter with great communication and organizational skills who has worked in an agile team environment before
  • Willingness to learn the technologies required to deliver what customers need
  • Bonus points:
  • Professional experience building software at scale, handling high volumes of data and traffic
  • Experienced building automated data pipeline, asynchronous processing, or ETL applications using tools like Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS, and RabbitMQ
  • Professional experience with Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, React, Snowflake, microservice architecture, and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing, BI, and analytics
  • Experience with agile processes
  • A passion for incrementally delivering high-quality software which delights customers

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) are responsible for keeping all internal-facing services and platforms running smoothly. In a nutshell, SREs ensure site uptime. SREs blend sensible system administrators and software engineers who apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to the environments and infrastructure services we provide. We specialize in systems–whether it be networking, the Linux kernel, or some more specific interest in scaling–algorithms or distributed systems.

Our team helps to improve automation, infrastructure reliability, and empowers Braze’s other engineering teams to leverage the infrastructure products and platforms we create easily. Braze operates at a massive scale with over 3.3 billion monthly active users across our customers, collecting hundreds of billions of data points each month, and sending billions of messages to end-users daily. We use a diverse technology stack rooted in Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, and more. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Braze, you will collaborate with your team and consumer engineering teams to continuously improve the infrastructure, automation, and tooling that build internal products from these technologies.

Main responsibilities:

  • Partner with Braze’s engineering teams on:

  • Architecting products to effectively utilize infrastructure platforms in a scalable, reliable manner

  • Debugging reliability and scalability issues across all stack layers, including the products built using our infrastructure platforms
  • Make monitoring and alerting alerts on symptoms and not on outages

  • Ensure that Braze meets our strict enterprise-grade SLAs with customers

  • Develop Braze’s internal platform infrastructure:

  • Create Infrastructure as code using Chef, Terraform, and Kubernetes

  • Develop deployment pipelines for applications in multiple languages using Docker, Kubernetes, etc

  • Provide centralized/common tooling, services, and automation frameworks that are critical for scaling operations, capacity management, reducing operational pain, and improving the day-to-day workflow of Braze’s engineering teams

  • Manage incidents:

  • Be on a PagerDuty rotation to respond to availability incidents and provide support for other engineers

  • Use your on-call shift to prevent incidents from ever happening
  • Retrospect everything that happens to turn lessons into system improvements/changes, automation, etc

WHO ARE YOU

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer
  • You think about systems - interfaces, boundaries, edge cases, failure modes, behaviors, specific implementations

  • Have an urge to collaborate, document, and deliver quickly

  • Collaborating across the global remote teams, often working asynchronously

  • Document everything so you don't need to learn the same thing (or plan the same work) twice

  • Delivering fast to delight our customers - even internal ones

  • Have an enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude. When you see something broken, you can't help but fix it

  • Have a desire to solve everyday challenges facing software engineers and automate their toil away
  • Have an excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and expectations at once
  • Know your way around Linux and Unix Shell.
  • Have strong programming skills - Ruby and/or Go preferred
  • Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar IaC technologies
  • Have experience with MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Postgres, or similar data technologies

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $156,364 and $279,957/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $172,000 and $306,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
