The Software Engineering MTS joins the Authentication Platform team to maintain the Production IAM stack, a tier-0 dependency for production infrastructure. What you'll do

Write clean, well-tested backend code in Java, Go, or C# to deliver features for the Authentication Platform.
Implement identity and federation protocols including Kerberos, LDAP, WebAuthn/FIDO2, and TOTP.
Contribute to design specifications and research spikes for new features alongside senior engineers.
Debug production issues and perform root cause analysis for incidents in the tier-0 IAM stack.
Participate in the on-call rotation to handle alerts and maintain 4+ nines availability.
Monitor platform telemetry including metrics, logs, and traces to ensure high availability.
Author and maintain technical documentation and runbooks for owned features and services.
Use AI development tools to write and evaluate code for correctness, performance, and security.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's degree is acceptable with additional experience).
Strong programming ability in Java, Go, or C# with production experience building backend services.
Working knowledge of at least one identity or federation protocol including Kerberos, LDAP, WebAuthn/FIDO2, TOTP, SAML, or OIDC.
Experience building, deploying, and debugging distributed services in a Public Cloud environment (AWS or GCP) using Kubernetes and modern CI/CD.
Solid grasp of software fundamentals including data structures, testing, code review, source control, and Agile execution.
Ability to debug production issues in a distributed system using logs, metrics, and traces.
IAM specialist depth, security hardening, and compliance experience (preferred).
