Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Trader Facing Production Support professional to join our Credit Teams. This role will primarily focus on providing support for the trading desk, as well as managing the backend of platforms and trade capture systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of trading operations, investigating, and resolving issues related to platform performance, trade capture, and associated systems.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience, a deep understanding of the financial markets (specifically within Global Markets/ Credit), and a strong technical background with expertise in SQL, Splunk, ITRS, and basic Unix environment. Experience with Bloomberg terminals is crucial, and Python scripting is a plus. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Trader Facing Support: Act as the first line of support for trading desks, particularly within the Credit domain, ensuring systems are up and running and efficiently addressing any technical issues that arise.
  • Trade Capture and Platforms Support: Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve issues related to trade capture, platform functionality, and integration between front-office and back-office systems.
  • Monitoring & Alerts: Utilize tools like Splunk and ITRS to monitor system performance, identify issues proactively, and escalate to relevant teams when necessary.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Manage and resolve high-priority incidents, including root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prevent recurrence.
  • SQL Database Queries: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate trade data in databases and support the trading desks' data needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the development teams, infrastructure, and trading desks to ensure system uptime and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and support processes. Provide regular reports on system health and performance metrics.
  • On-call Support: Participate in an on-call rotation for out-of-hours support, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a production support or technical support role, with significant exposure to global markets and Credit trading environments

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in SQL database queries and data manipulation.
  • Experience with Splunk for log monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ITRS for system monitoring and alerting.
  • Basic Unix/Linux command-line skills for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Bloomberg terminals and related platforms for trade capture and market data integration.
  • Python scripting knowledge is a plus to assist in automating processes or troubleshooting.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of global markets, particularly Credit trading and associated systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with traders, technical teams, and other stakeholders.

Job Description:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that support data generation, collection, and processing. We are looking for a Python Developer to support one of our clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strong experience on React JS and Python
  • JS and Python experience (Multi Threading, ORM libraries, Web framework DJango/Flask
    UNIX programming and shell scripting
  • Good SQL experience with Relational database[Sybase/Oracle] programming
    Strong unit test and debugging skills
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN

Qualification

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of work experience in Python Development
  • 3 years of experience in Oracle SQL Development and Banking Finance Domains
  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge on frameworks (ex. Django or Flask)
  • Working experience on version control tools (ex. GIT)

  • As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Your day-to-day activities will include installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any problems that may arise.   • This role requires 5 days away per quarter mandate by the client
  • This role requires being on site with client 3 days per week in the office

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience with performance tuning

  • Knowledge of shell scripting, python for automation database tasks
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Gir, and Datical
