VP Solutions Consulting, Embedded Finance & Digital Assets serves as a senior solution architect and client-facing technical advisor for high-value, complex payment engagements. Working closely with Sales and Product teams, the individual leads end-to-end solution design, performs technical due diligence, and manages RFP responses to accelerate strategic deals across U.S. and regional markets. Daily responsibilities include creating architecture diagrams, integration flows, data mappings, and proof-of-concept designs while translating client requirements into engineering requests. The role requires expertise in designing API integration patterns, security controls, and implementation sequencing for payment platforms. Key technical competencies include experience with cloud platforms, microservices-based architectures, RESTful APIs, OAuth authentication, JSON-based data exchanges, and CI/CD practices. This position addresses the challenge of building scalable architectures and ensuring seamless handoffs to delivery teams within the embedded finance and digital assets domain.
Lead end-to-end solution design and technical due diligence for complex payment deals across U.S. and regional markets.
Serve as the primary solution architect and advisor to recommend architectures that reduce risk and accelerate deal closure.
Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) responses by coordinating cross-functional inputs from Sales, Product, Legal, and Pricing teams.
Create technical artifacts including architecture diagrams, integration flows, data mappings, and Statement of Work (SOW) inputs.
Design and validate API integration patterns, security controls, and data protection requirements for scalable delivery.
Translate client requirements into prioritized product and engineering requests while assessing release impacts and trade-offs.
What we're looking for
Must have 12+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or solution architecture within payments or adjacent fintech.
Experience owning RFP responses and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to produce technical and commercial documentation on deadline is required.
Experience designing and implementing APIs, integrations, data mappings, security controls, and implementation sequencing for payment platforms is required.
Experience presenting complex technical solutions to executive and technical audiences to influence commercial decision-making is required.
Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, RESTful APIs, OAuth, JSON, and CI/CD delivery practices is required.
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and military service) is required.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, AWS/Azure cloud certifications, or equivalent professional credentials are preferred.
