Senior Visualization Engineer

What you'll do

• Gather complex business requirements by partnering with customers to define problems and data needs.
• Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions including data visualization and transformation.
• Partner with IT execution teams to develop analytic infrastructures and data engineering efforts.
• Design and implement technical standards and governance practices for data management.
• Apply data visualization best practices to identify trends and patterns while following enterprise branding.
• Prototype and design dashboards and reports to maximize end-user experience and impact.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders to drive business value through data insights.
• Monitor and control risks associated with business activities in accordance with compliance policies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 6 years of data and analytics experience, or a combination of 4 years of data/analytics and 2 years of functional business experience.
• Advanced experience developing business deliverables using BI platforms or SQL-based languages like Tableau, Snowflake, or Hadoop.
• Demonstrated experience identifying innovative approaches to address moderately complex business problems and solutions.
• Expert-level communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to all levels of management.
• Ability to embed intuitive storytelling within business intelligence solutions and present complex technical details concisely.
• Proven ability to build business knowledge through meaningful partnerships at individual contributor, leadership, and EMG levels.
• Must be able to work in the office 4 days per week in San Antonio, Plano, Phoenix, or Charlotte.
