Visualization Engineer, Mid Level

What you'll do

• Gather complex business requirements by partnering with customers to define problems and data needs.
• Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions including data visualization and transformation.
• Work with IT execution teams to develop analytic infrastructures and data engineering efforts.
• Design and implement technical standards and governance practices for data management.
• Apply data visualization best practices to identify and interpret trends within large datasets.
• Prototype solutions to maximize the impact of dashboards, reports, and end-user experiences.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders to drive business value through data insights.
• Monitor and control business risks in accordance with corporate risk and compliance policies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience in a relevant industry.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field with 2 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience.
• Experience identifying and implementing innovative approaches to address business problems and solutions.
• Experience developing business deliverables using BI platforms, data management platforms, or SQL-based languages.
• Proven ability to build business knowledge through meaningful partnerships at individual, leadership, and EMG levels.
• Demonstrated advanced communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to all levels of management.
• Demonstrated ability to embed intuitive storytelling within business intelligence solutions.
