You will also use SQL or GraphQL to query data. This role solves the technical challenge of improving subscriber streaming experiences and discovery through data-driven insights.

What you'll do

  • Build and iterate on core data products in collaboration with analytics engineers and data scientists.
  • Transform complex, messy data into engaging and informative visualizations for stakeholders and executives.

  • Implement best practices in testing, component design, and AI-assisted development.
  • Address ad hoc business-critical questions to support team goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Explore and integrate emerging technologies, such as Generative AI, into products and workflows.
  • Develop beautiful web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and component frameworks like React or Vue.js.
  • Query data using SQL or GraphQL to support data-centric product development.

What we're looking for

  • You have experience with Node.js and front-end JavaScript, with TypeScript encouraged.
  • You have experience working with a component framework such as React or Vue.js.
  • You understand core principles of data visualization, including charts, color, and information hierarchy.
  • You can query data using skills like SQL or GraphQL.
  • You have experience building web apps focused on data explanation and exploration.
  • You have experience with D3 or other visualization experience (preferred).
  • You have basic statistical knowledge and intuition (preferred).
  • You have experience with, or an intense curiosity about, building with Gen AI tooling.
