As a Data Visualization Engineer, you will join a team focused on transforming complex, large-scale datasets into actionable information to solve global challenges across various sectors. You will work closely with clients to identify their specific needs, leading the development of algorithms and systems while guiding teammates through data-rich environments. Your daily responsibilities include performing data analysis to investigate quality and relationships, executing transformation stages in data pipelines, and building interactive dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders. To succeed, you must be proficient in Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and have experience with Foundry, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. You will also utilize front-end design principles and advanced visualization techniques to solve problems involving IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence within complex technical environments.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Foundry, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
Build and maintain data pipelines using Code Repository within the Foundry platform.
Perform data manipulation and analysis using Python, R, or SQL.
Execute data transformation stages to turn disparate data points into actionable insights.
Investigate data quality, structure, and relationships within complex datasets.
Translate client requirements into technical specifications for reporting and dashboard development.
Lead the development of algorithms and systems to solve complex data problems.
What we're looking for
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Experience with data analysis including investigating data quality and identifying relationships within various data types.
Experience with data visualization using basic design principles.
Experience with data pipeline engineering and executing transformation stages.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience working in Foundry to build or maintain data pipelines with Code Repository.
Ability to develop interactive dashboards in Foundry, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik; experience with AI/ML, DoD clients, and a Master's degree (preferred).
