What you'll do

Research and develop complex video codec, computer vision, and AI/ML accelerator hardware solutions.
Perform microarchitecture design, RTL implementation, and verification for complex video hardware systems.
Conduct architecture and standards analysis to drive requirements and detailed specifications for hardware development.
Ensure all components meet key performance indicators for system performance, area, and power efficiency.
Triage complex technical problems to determine root causes and implement effective resolutions.
Lead the design and integration of advanced video systems and AI/ML hardware accelerators.
Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions to guide users and customers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
4+ years of applicable video HW and/or Systems experience (preferred).
4+ years of experience with hardware system design, system integration, schematic capture, and circuit simulation software (preferred).
4+ years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems (preferred).
3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization (preferred).
1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (preferred).
1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports (preferred).
