Video Research Engineer (Multiple Levels) joins the Video Standards Engineering team within the Multimedia R&D and Standards Group. What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Expert knowledge of video and image coding theory, algorithms, and techniques, including HEVC and VVC standards (preferred).
Experience with deep learning architectures, including CNN, RNN, and autoencoders (preferred).
Solid programming skills in C/C++ and knowledge of at least one machine learning framework like PyTorch or TensorFlow (preferred).
Track record of research accomplishments demonstrated through published papers and/or patent applications in video coding or processing (preferred).
Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work in a team environment (preferred).
