EVA Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Define system and algorithm-level architectures, standard studies, and feature decompositions to drive hardware and software requirements.
• Profile and optimize algorithm and model performance across memory, compute, power, and bandwidth constraints on mobile platforms.
• Develop production-quality code in Python and C/C++ using ML/CV frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
• Implement computer vision and video processing algorithms for real-time deployment on embedded systems and SoCs.
• Create technical documentation, design specifications, and feature descriptions to guide internal teams and external partners.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers across various experience levels.
• Drive the transition of technologies from initial research through final production deployment.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• A Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• A PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong background in computer vision and video processing algorithms.
• Solid understanding of SoC architecture, including compute accelerators, memory hierarchies, and hardware/software interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with modern deep learning architectures and real-time computer vision systems or embedded AI deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, and OpenCV for production-quality development.
• Experience with performance profiling tools, hardware simulators, and familiarity with FPGA prototyping or RTL design is a plus.
