As a Vice President - Senior Lead Architect within the Enterprise Architecture organization of the Chief Technology Office, you will develop high-quality architecture solutions for enterprise-scale software applications, platforms, and shared technology capabilities. You will build architecture assessment agents to evaluate end-to-end business services, represent product families in technical governance bodies, and establish reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns across the software development lifecycle. Your daily work involves evaluating emerging technologies, writing and debugging production code, and providing technical guidance to teams, contractors, and vendors. You will utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities while ensuring security and auditability. Required skills include proficiency in programming languages, expertise in cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or distributed systems, and experience with architecture governance frameworks like TOGAF. You will solve complex problems regarding scalability, resiliency, and engineering effectiveness within a regulated environment.
Develop architecture assessment agents to evaluate critical end-to-end business services at an enterprise scale.
Represent product families in technical governance bodies to propose improvements to architecture practices.
Utilize authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and decision-making while ensuring data security.
Evaluate emerging technologies against firm standards to improve scalability, resiliency, and engineering effectiveness.
Drive architectural decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations across multiple teams.
Write, review, and debug high-quality production code while providing hands-on leadership during the software delivery lifecycle.
Establish reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns to ensure consistency and auditability across toolchain practices.
Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in software architecture and technical processes.
Demonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows with awareness of data sensitivity.
Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
Strong judgment, decision-making, stakeholder management, and communication skills to influence technical direction across teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience with formal architecture governance frameworks (preferred).
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, cloud, ITIL, or CISSP (preferred).
