The (USA) Senior Manager, Technology Operations joins the Item Transactability and Decisioning team to lead the strategy and delivery of initiatives improving how items are managed online. This role focuses on building automated, sustainable processes to ensure products remain transactable, available, and aligned with customer needs across eCommerce and Omnichannel spaces. You will collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to translate complex business problems into requirements, develop project plans, and build business cases. Key responsibilities include leveraging data and modeling to derive insights from large datasets to identify trends and solve next-generation retail problems. Required competencies include proactive leadership, effective storytelling, and a data-driven mindset to manage projects independently while applying structure to ambiguity to accelerate end-to-end results within the retail technology landscape.
Lead strategic initiatives to improve item transactability and customer-facing availability in eCommerce and Omnichannel spaces.
Leverage data and modeling to derive insights and identify trends that inform business strategy.
Develop project plans and build business cases to pitch new ideas and initiatives.
Translate complex business problems into transactability requirements and sustainable, automated processes.
Partner with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to execute state-of-the-art retail solutions.
Use analytics and automation to detect issues, target actions, and scale improvements.
Manage end-to-end project lifecycles to ensure items remain available and aligned with customer needs.
What we're looking for
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
Option 2: 7 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
2 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage projects independently or as part of a team.
Ability to leverage data and modeling to derive insights and identify trends for business strategy.
Strong problem-solving skills to develop sustainable solutions in real-time.
Effective storytelling capabilities to build and present enterprise-level story arcs.
Master’s degree in a relevant field and 4 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area (preferred).
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
