The Senior Manager, Technology Operations joins the Social Commerce team within the Item Experience and Content Strategy organization. In this role, you will lead the strategic management, automation, and delivery of initiatives that transform social signals into actionable insights. You will own the data pipeline from social signals to centralized insights, manage data provider relationships, and lead partner negotiations. Daily responsibilities include refining trend-understanding logic, enhancing internal dashboards, and developing business cases to influence leadership priority. You will utilize data analysis and modeling to handle large datasets and turn raw data into recommendations. The role requires deep domain expertise in the social platform landscape, trend-detection tools, and social commerce innovations to solve the technical challenge of scaling trend intelligence across the enterprise.
Own the data pipeline from social signals to centralized trend insights.
Manage relationships with data providers and lead partner negotiations for new sources.
Partner with Product and Engineering to refine trend-understanding logic and internal dashboards.
Integrate trend data into various organizational workflows to build trend-informed features.
Use data analysis and modeling to turn raw data into actionable business recommendations.
Develop business cases and roadmaps to secure leadership buy-in for new initiatives.
Convert ambiguous challenges into actionable playbooks and long-term automation strategies.
What we're looking for
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
Option 2: 7 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
2 years of supervisory experience.
Proven ability to leverage data insights to inform strategic decisions, identify business opportunities, and validate processes.
Deep understanding of the social platform landscape, trend-detection tools, and modern social commerce innovations.
Exceptional storytelling capabilities to construct and deliver audience-specific, enterprise-level narratives.
Master’s degree in a related field and 4 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area (preferred).
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
