What you'll do

  • Manage complex projects by prioritizing work assignments, tracking timelines, and overseeing contractor performance and scope of work.
  • Oversee sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Develop and manage department budgets, including capital expenses, labor costs, and vendor contract approvals.
  • Analyze data trends to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff while fostering a culture of inclusion and professional development.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure business goals are met through effective resource allocation and project oversight.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a Master Plumber license and 5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, or engineering.
  • Alternatively, must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must obtain EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Must hold a Master Electrician License or equivalent in the state where work is performed.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and supervising others is preferred.
  • Preferred experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.
  • Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certifications for refrigerant handling are preferred.
  • Knowledge of building controls or related areas is preferred.
