What you'll do

  • Directs HVAC&R, plumbing, electrical maintenance and service operations by evaluating equipment needs and developing standard operating procedures.
  • Oversees execution of sustainability initiatives to meet EPA compliance programs, resolving issues from vendors and contractors.
  • Manages complex projects by determining work assignment priority, planning assignments, and ensuring project completion within timelines.
  • Ensures business needs are met by consulting with stakeholders, soliciting suggestions for efficiency improvements, and participating in community outreach.
  • Maintains project oversight by managing costs, monitoring status of work, preparing labor and material cost estimates, and recommending equipment improvements.
  • Manages department budget by gathering data trends, validating spending on materials and labor, reviewing facility-related invoices, and approving expenditures.

What we're looking for

  • Licensed Master Plumber with 5+ years in facilities management or construction.
  • EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Master Electrician License or equivalent state certification.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and supervising maintenance staff.
  • Type I and II EPA certifications for refrigerant handling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field with relevant experience.
