The Mgr Prop & Facilities is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility infrastructure, building automation systems, and conveyor or package handling equipment. This role involves directing maintenance, repair, and reliability efforts while managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and routine inspections. The individual will develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability and performance. Day-to-day tasks include labor forecasting, work prioritization, and coordinating outages for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency power systems. Key technical requirements include proficiency with maintenance management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge of engineering drawings, blueprints, and control logic. The role addresses the critical challenge of maintaining complex automated systems and infrastructure to ensure operational excellence while providing executive-level reporting on performance data and capital plans for facility improvement initiatives.
Direct the maintenance, repair, and reliability of facility infrastructure, conveyor systems, and building automation.
Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability and performance.
Manage labor forecasting, work prioritization, outage coordination, and resource allocation for maintenance activities.
Oversee electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency power systems.
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, routine inspections, and emergency repair tasks.
Develop budgets, capital plans, and facility improvement initiatives with senior leadership.
Analyze performance data to provide reports and recommendations to executive management.
Lead, develop, and mentor maintenance personnel to achieve safety and reliability goals.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or Engineering.
Six years of experience in maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, emergency power, building automation, and package handling systems.
Advanced knowledge of conveyor systems, package handling equipment, and building automation systems.
Proficiency with maintenance management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to analyze performance data and deliver reports and presentations for executive leadership.
Valid driver's license and ability to work third-shift nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of finance and experience managing operating budgets (preferred).
Demonstrated leadership, project management, communication, and employee development skills (preferred).
