Mgr Prop & Facilities is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility infrastructure, building automation systems, and conveyor or package handling equipment. The role involves directing maintenance, repair, and reliability efforts while managing labor forecasting, work prioritization, and vendor relationships. Key responsibilities include developing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency power systems. The successful candidate will utilize expertise in asset management principles, engineering drawings, blueprints, and control logic to provide executive-level reporting and data analysis. Required skills include proficiency with maintenance management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and technical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. This role solves critical operational challenges by ensuring facility compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while managing capital plans and infrastructure improvements for large-scale package handling operations.
Direct the maintenance, repair, and reliability of facility infrastructure, conveyor systems, and building automation.
Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability.
Manage maintenance planning including labor forecasting, work prioritization, and resource allocation.
Oversee mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and emergency power systems.
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and routine inspections.
Develop budgets, capital plans, and facility improvement initiatives with senior leadership.
Analyze performance data to provide reports and recommendations to executive management.
Lead, develop, and mentor maintenance personnel to meet safety and reliability goals.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or Engineering.
Six years of experience in maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, emergency power, building automation, and package handling systems.
Advanced knowledge of conveyor systems, package handling equipment, and building automation systems.
Proficiency with maintenance management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to analyze performance data and deliver reports and recommendations to executive leadership.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of finance with experience managing operating budgets (preferred).
Working knowledge of engineering drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, control logic, hydraulics, pneumatics, and technical specifications (preferred).
