Technical Services Engineer - Partners will join the Technical Services team to provide expert guidance and solve complex problems for large customers and partners regarding architecture, performance, recovery, and security. What you'll do

Solve complex issues regarding architecture, performance, recovery, and security for large customers and partners.
Provide expert guidance on standard methodologies for running MongoDB at scale.
Advocate for customer and partner needs by collaborating with product management and development teams.
Develop internal software tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
Mentor and train new team members while learning new product lines within the ecosystem.
Coordinate with top ISV partners to ensure service excellence for joint customers.

What we're looking for

Experience in systems engineering including Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS.
Experience building and maintaining complex mission-critical production database systems (RDBMS or NoSQL).
Basic coding or scripting ability in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, or Go.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues holistically from the application tier through the database down to storage.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure while thinking on your feet.
Experience using or managing MongoDB is a plus.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, or authentication systems like LDAP/Kerberos is preferred.
