What you'll do

Resolve complex customer issues regarding architecture, performance, recovery, and security for the MongoDB ecosystem.
Provide expert advice on best practices for running MongoDB at scale across various infrastructures.
Advocate for customer needs by interfacing with internal product management and development teams.
Develop software tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics to improve internal support capabilities.
Troubleshoot issues holistically from the application tier through the database down to storage layers.
Analyze and resolve technical problems involving Linux systems, Kubernetes clusters, and networking protocols.
Manage and troubleshoot large-scale production environments across cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have at least 5 years of proven experience in technical roles.
Experience in systems engineering including Linux performance, memory management, networking, and troubleshooting is required.
Knowledge of core Kubernetes concepts such as containers, namespaces, and multi-cluster deployments is preferred.
Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols like DNS, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS is required.
Experience with storage engineering including NAS, SAN, SSD, and caching is required.
Ability to read code and perform basic coding or scripting in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or others.
Experience building and maintaining complex mission-critical production database systems is preferred.
Candidates must be based in Gurugram for the hybrid working model.
