What you'll do

Resolve high-pressure technical issues and manage critical escalations for large enterprise customers.
Troubleshoot complex production systems including database-backed applications and distributed microservices.
Analyze customer workloads to provide specific recommendations for performance, availability, and scalability.
Diagnose networking, security, and infrastructure issues across cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Translate complex technical problems into clear, empathetic communications to build customer trust.
Create knowledge articles, presentations, and documentation to share expertise with the internal team.
Perform advanced diagnostics and provide technical mentorship to peer engineers.

What we're looking for

Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills including performance, memory, I/O, configuration, security, networking, clustering, and storage.
Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex production systems, including database-backed or enterprise applications.
Strong diagnostic ability to trace issues across distributed systems or microservices.
Familiarity with RDBMS and/or NoSQL database administration concepts; MongoDB experience is preferred.
Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, load balancers, proxies, firewalls, and VPNs.
Familiarity with security concepts like authentication, authorization, encryption, certificates, and key management.
Basic scripting or coding ability and comfort reading code or production automation.
