Technical Partner Manager, Small Business/Retail

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery and evaluate partner solutions, APIs, data flows, and architecture designs for the Genius ecosystem.
• Develop and manage comprehensive partner integration plans from initial technical evaluation through production launch.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams to ensure project alignment.
• Track implementation milestones, certification activities, testing schedules, and launch readiness criteria.
• Facilitate issue resolution and remove obstacles that impact partner delivery timelines or operational stability.
• Manage the certification process for partner integrations supporting SMB Restaurant customers.
• Provide technical guidance and ongoing enablement to ecosystem partners regarding best practices and platform standards.
• Monitor integration health, recurring issues, and partner satisfaction to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in technical partnerships, account management, implementation consulting, solution engineering, or related roles.
• Experience supporting API integrations, SaaS platforms, POS systems, commerce platforms, or enterprise applications.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system integrations, APIs, web services, and technical implementation processes (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects involving external partners and internal engineering teams (preferred).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences (preferred).
• Experience working with multiple teams simultaneously while managing complex priorities and timelines (preferred).
