As a Partner Solutions Architect - Billing, you will join the Partner Solutions Architecture team to provide technical guidance and leadership to Stripe’s partners. You will act as a critical technical liaison, building consultative relationships with executives and technical decision makers to solve mission-critical business challenges. Your daily responsibilities include creating comprehensive technical business plans, developing enablement plans, and leading deep-dive discussions on solution strategies to expand partnership revenue. You will also collaborate on technical content like sample code and demos while educating internal sales teams. The role requires expertise in API integrations, SaaS platforms, enterprise architectures, and order-to-cash processes. You must possess a deep understanding of subscription, billing, and payment solutions within the financial infrastructure industry, specifically focusing on how ERP, CRM, Tax, and legacy systems interact within complex enterprise technology ecosystems.
Build technical business plans for partners to identify, incubate, and launch new service offerings.
Act as a technical liaison to provide guidance on Stripe capabilities and solution deep-dives.
Architect business models with partner executives to drive new monetization opportunities and growth.
Engage with CTOs and engineering leads to share technology roadmaps and define expansion strategies.
Create technical content, including sample code and demos, to demonstrate best practices for specific use cases.
Provide oversight and guidance during the partner sales process to ensure successful joint opportunities.
Educate internal sales teams on partner solutions and capabilities to improve regional sales alignment.
Provide product feedback based on partner needs to influence Stripe's roadmap.
What we're looking for
10+ years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role like solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer for a global software enterprise.
Strong technical acumen in API integrations, SaaS platforms, and enterprise architectures.
Extensive experience with subscription, billing, and payment solutions.
Experience co-selling and co-solutioning with go-to-market partners.
Executive engagement skills to build relationships and credibility with key decision makers.
Proficiency in group facilitation and leading customer meetings to gain strategic footing.
Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
