As a Team Lead on the Supply Chain team, you will manage material management and inventory flow to support production and business growth. You will oversee daily operations by setting priorities, clearing blockers for the warehouse team, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Your role involves building a collaborative culture through cross-functional collaboration, conducting daily standups, and acting as a super user within the WMS to resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate possesses experience in receiving, put-away, picking, cycle counting, and internal transfers while navigating complex domestic and international shipment documentation. Key competencies include knowledge of AS9100 standards, OSHA laws, 5S, lean manufacturing, or 6-Sigma principles. You will manage the transition from low volume to high rate operations while ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards within a fast-paced environment.
Manage daily warehouse operations including issuing tasks, clearing blockers, and ensuring timely completion of work.
Own inventory accuracy for the business unit by identifying risks and reporting data daily.
Act as a WMS super user to identify and resolve critical system issues.
Drive performance metrics and report key results to supervisors and management.
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety procedures, OSHA laws, and AS9100 standards.
Lead daily standups to drive key business initiatives and maintain visual management of operations.
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve KPI issues and implement continuous improvement activities.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export controlled information or facilities.
Ability to be onsite and local to Atlanta, GA.
3+ years of experience with warehouse operations supporting manufacturing, including receiving, put-away, picking, cycle counting, internal transfers, deployments, and VRMA.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, manufacturing, or related operations field (preferred).
Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and key warehouse fundamentals (preferred).
Knowledge of AS9100 standards, OSHA laws, 5S, lean manufacturing, or 6-Sigma principles (preferred).
Experience in process development, equipment maintenance, and ramping low volume operations to high rates (preferred).
Proficiency with computer applications, data presentation, and forklift certification (preferred).
