What you'll do

Develop and implement material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with federal regulations.
Hire, train, and lead a high-performing warehouse team to manage material flow effectively.
Implement end-to-end measures including FIFO adherence, cycle counting, and scrap management to ensure inventory accuracy.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align material availability with production schedules and demand forecasting.
Utilize ERP and WMS systems to track inventory, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights.
Analyze usage trends and implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize storage and distribution.
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety standards, quality protocols, and AS9100 requirements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
1+ years of experience managing a team of supervisors, associates, or technicians.
Ability to be onsite and local to Santa Ana, CA or Costa Mesa, CA.
Experience implementing ERP/WMS systems and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Knowledge of AS9100 standards, OSHA laws, and lean manufacturing principles like 5S or Six Sigma.
Proficiency in using computer applications to track inventory, generate reports, and present data.
