What you'll do

Develop and implement material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with federal regulations.
Hire and train warehouse staff to manage material flow according to company guidelines.
Implement end-to-end inventory measures including FIFO adherence, cycle counting, and scrap management.
Coordinate with production and procurement teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.
Analyze usage trends and implement lean practices to optimize storage and distribution processes.
Utilize ERP and WMS systems to track inventory and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety standards, quality protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team through training and performance feedback.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management in an aerospace and/or defense manufacturing environment.
2+ years of experience managing a lead of supervisors, associates, or technicians.
Ability to be onsite and local to Atlanta, GA.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, manufacturing, or related operations field (preferred).
Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, warehouse fundamentals, AS9100 standards, OSHA laws, 5S, lean manufacturing, or 6-Sigma principles (preferred).
Experience with receiving and deployment documentation for domestic/international shipments, equipment troubleshooting, and forklift certification (preferred).
Proficiency in computer use, data presentation, and excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred).
