What you'll do

Design and implement radio networks including infrastructure, subscribers, mobile backhaul, and WAN/CEN networks.
Lead the technical aspects of assigned projects from initial design through final system acceptance.
Conduct customer design reviews, witnessed staging, and coverage acceptance testing events.
Perform radio coverage testing, frequency analysis, and interference mitigation.
Manage radio system licensing and prepare fleet maps, encryption, and programming templates.
Execute live system cutovers, upgrades, and troubleshooting in both lab and field environments.
Create comprehensive technical documentation for all installed systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with a degree or 5 years of experience without a degree in an engineering or technical field.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
Proficiency in Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering, Land/Mobile Radio Engineering, and RFDS principles is required.
Experience with P25 Land Mobile Radio terminology and Motorola ASTRO 25 architecture is preferred.
Knowledge of networking protocols including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SIP, and the OSI model is required.
Familiarity with server systems (VMware ESXI, Linux, Microsoft) and network hardware (Fortinet, Juniper, Nokia, HP/Aruba) is required.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, or CCNA are preferred.
