Senior Engineer, Systems Design & Implementation

What you'll do

• Implement body cameras, in-car video systems, and digital evidence management software.
• Serve as the primary technical solution owner for complex public safety software projects.
• Conduct customer-facing technical requirements discovery sessions for system configuration.
• Survey, design, install, and maintain wireless communication infrastructure at client sites.
• Provide comprehensive system as-built documentation for all implemented solutions.
• Identify interface requirements and coordinate with system implementation teams for design.
• Deliver product training to customers through both in-person and virtual platforms.

What we're looking for

• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by a government customer.
• Must successfully pass a stringent fingerprint background check administered by customers for CJIS Security Policy compliance.
• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of Engineering, IT, Public Safety, and/or Military experience.
• 8+ years of Engineering, IT, Public Safety, and/or Military experience (if no Bachelor's Degree is held).
• 4+ years of Public Safety software application system implementation experience.
• Experience in computer hardware sizing, configuration, and implementation.
• Experience in TCP/IP computer networking and design for both wired and wireless systems.
• LTE Network Modem/Router background.
• Technical writing experience with the ability to deliver information to a nontechnical audience.
• Basic knowledge of Radio Voice Communications Networks.
• Basic knowledge of Motorola Solutions Public Safety Applications.
• Knowledge of Public Safety operations.
