Systems Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of Data Center GPU platforms and accelerator cards from concept through production.
• Develop product requirements, technical specifications, project schedules, and engineering execution plans.
• Drive schematic design, component selection, and implementation of high-speed digital, power, and management circuits.
• Oversee PCB layout activities to ensure compliance with signal integrity, power integrity, thermal, and manufacturability requirements.
• Partner with component suppliers and technology vendors to evaluate solutions and ensure successful hardware implementation.
• Lead board bring-up, system integration, validation, and qualification activities for new hardware.
• Perform root-cause analysis and debug complex hardware issues using advanced laboratory instrumentation.
• Present technical reviews and project status updates to engineering leadership and key stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of five years of hardware design experience.
• Expertise in computer architecture, signal integrity, power delivery, and system-level design.
• Proficiency with the Cadence design suite.
• Experience leading complex hardware development programs from concept through production.
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces including PCI Express, XGMI, and LPDDR.
• Understanding of platform management and firmware technologies like Redfish and telemetry.
• Experience in DFM, DFT, and root-cause analysis using advanced laboratory instrumentation.
