What you'll do

  • Design and maintain tools for JTAG hardware, memory bring-up, and scan infrastructure.
  • Develop Python libraries to capture debug data and evaluate the health of IP blocks.
  • Create firmware specifications for future silicon debug features and in-chip microcontrollers.
  • Build and monitor automated QA execution of debug tools using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop distributed applications for Automated Debug Systems (ADS) and containerized tools.
  • Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate debug data into mission mode firmware.
  • Support customer-facing debug workflows and ensure secure transport of debug data.
  • Develop software for JTAG devices and manage the release of external tool software.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Expertise in software, firmware, or hardware debug systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, C, Java, and JavaScript programming languages.
  • Experience with JTAG hardware tools and system-level debugging methodologies.
  • Knowledge of x86 systems, SoC internal architecture, and BIOS.
  • Familiarity with Linux, USB protocols, and platform design.
  • Experience with Kubernetes containers and CI/CD pipelines for automated QA execution.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
