Support Engineer
The Support Engineer joins the Engineering Services Group to maintain and support internally developed test equipment across lab and production environments. This role involves hands-on hardware work, including installing and configuring systems, performing RF cabling, and conducting signal path verifications. The individual will troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, and network layers using Linux command line tools while managing IT infrastructure components like servers and switches. Key responsibilities include tracking equipment inventory, coordinating calibration events, and documenting resolutions through ServiceNow and Confluence. To succeed, the candidate must possess skills in RF systems, connector installation, system integration, and basic networking concepts such as IP configuration. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance of test platforms by resolving hardware faults, managing asset lifecycles, and maintaining site-wide equipment readiness within a technical laboratory environment.
