Support Engineer, Lab Support and Automation

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications to automate post-silicon validation and integration activities.
• Implement automation workflows using Python, Flask, C#, and SQL to improve validation throughput and traceability.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues affecting validation workflows and lab operations.
• Configure and maintain validation platforms, including development boards, thermal equipment, power supplies, and automated handlers.
• Manage data pipelines and databases for silicon parametric-data collection, high-volume regression, and stress testing.
• Execute silicon characterization, debug experiments, and recovery of validation setups in a lab environment.
• Maintain lab inventory, equipment readiness, and a clean, ESD-compliant laboratory environment.
• Create technical documentation including software requirements, architecture notes, deployment instructions, and operational runbooks.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma with 4+ years of experience, associate degree with 3+ years, or bachelor's degree with 2+ years in support engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and application development.
• Experience developing software automation, workflow tools, test infrastructure, data-processing solutions, or full-stack applications.
• Experience with databases and data access using SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, or comparable technologies.
• Working knowledge of source control, CI/CD, unit testing, regression testing, debugging, and software-release practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot across application software, operating systems, automation, databases, network connectivity, servers, and hardware interfaces.
• Ability to use Windows and Linux environments, common productivity tools, and networking concepts relevant to lab and application infrastructure.
• Experience with full-stack technologies like JavaScript, React, Flask, or AWS (preferred).
