What you'll do

  • Manage documentation and processes for lab automation equipment and software to ensure asset reliability and security.
  • Configure, maintain, and support computerized systems including orchestration software, instrument drivers, and system integrations.
  • Execute system implementations, upgrades, and configuration changes following IQ, OQ, and computer system validation protocols.
  • Optimize system configurations and perform technical investigations related to system-level issues.
  • Lead end-user training on automated systems and workflows for lab and manufacturing personnel.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for site-wide software and hardware issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data integrity, cyber security, and compliance standards like 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Manage multiple projects and lead technical work assignments as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical laboratory operations, lab informatics, instrument qualification, analytical systems, or IT roles supporting lab environments.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining automation software and system integrations, such as Hamilton Venus.
  • Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting integrated automation software, including HighRes BioSolutions and Cellario platforms.
  • Working knowledge of data integrity, cyber security, and computer system validation principles, including 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP 5.
  • Substantial knowledge of CSV, GMP, FDA, GAMP, ISO, ICH, and other applicable standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor staff on documentation practices and lead multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate with cross-functional teams like Quality and Manufacturing.
