TL;DR · Supply Chain Engineer, PCB (Starlink)

As a Supply Chain Engineer for PCBs at SpaceX’s Starlink program, you will join a dynamic team focused on expanding global internet access through satellite technology. Your role involves ensuring continuity of supply for printed circuit boards and collaborating closely with internal engineering and manufacturing teams as well as suppliers to execute effective strategies that support production goals from concept development to full-scale production. You should have hands-on experience with PCBs, laminates, electrochemical processes, or microelectronics fabrication, ideally gained through internships or academic projects. This position requires a valid driver’s license and offers the unique opportunity to see your work come to life as part of SpaceX’s ambitious space-based internet initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Own continuity of supply for printed circuit boards (PCBs) on the Starlink program.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with PCB suppliers to ensure production goals are met.
  • Execute effective supply chain strategies to achieve production targets for Starlink projects.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams to integrate supplier components into in-house manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and report on supply chain metrics to identify potential issues and drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Experience with printed circuit boards (PCBs) and microelectronics fabrication.
  • Understanding of engineering laminates, electrochemical processes, and PCB manufacturing.
  • Valid driver’s license required for travel.
  • Ability to work closely with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for supply chain challenges.
