The Supply Chain Business Systems Project Lead joins the Americas Digital Manufacturing & IE Adoption team to analyze business problems and develop automated systems. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and designing cost-effective procedures that meet specific user requirements while ensuring operational outcomes through a business-first mindset. The individual will configure system settings, create specifications, and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing for automated solutions. Key responsibilities include providing consultation to users, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean principles. Candidates should possess skills in troubleshooting, project management, and change management. Preferred technical expertise includes Rockwell Automation MES and IoT platforms, FactoryTalk Production Centre, Fiix, SAP, and related manufacturing systems. The role focuses on solving problems within the domain of Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and Digital Transformation to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Analyze business problems to determine appropriate automated systems and solutions.
Provide technical expertise to develop cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
Configure system settings, options, and specifications for automated systems.
Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing for new systems.
Design detailed specifications for automated manufacturing systems.
Consult with users regarding the implementation and use of automated systems.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex business or technical issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and digital manufacturing solutions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Experience with Rockwell Automation and PTC MES/IoT software, including FactoryTalk Production Centre (FTPC), Fiix, SAP, and related manufacturing systems (preferred).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
Experience supporting and deploying MES, IoT, and Connected Enterprise technologies in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
Experience leading Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, or Digital Transformation initiatives (preferred).
Experience with change management, system implementation, testing, and end-user training (preferred).
