What you'll do

Act as the lead technical expert for Automation Applications, Process Control, and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
Maintain system availability and prepare performance metrics to ensure service objectives are met.
Develop strategic roadmaps for Automation Applications and Process Control systems in conjunction with business management.
Create dashboards to visualize and analyze data for business intelligence insights.
Integrate data across critical platforms and roll out Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Provide technical training for onsite users and engineers on automation technologies and applications.
Provide after-hours on-call support on a regular rotation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required.
Working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems such as Foxboro I/A, Rockwell PlantPAx, or Emerson DeltaV required.
Experience administering and configuring data historian systems like OSISoft PI, including commissioning, qualification, and computerized systems validation required.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems such as POMSnet, Emerson Syncade, or Werum PAS-X required.
Experience coding in VB, C#, or other standard programming languages required.
Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, and HMI screen development is a plus.
Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, and networking components is a plus.
