As a Substrate Technologist within the Hardware Technology Packaging team, you will own and drive sophisticated package selection, new-generation product package structure, and configuration optimization. You will lead RFSIP package substrate development, pathfinding technology, and roadmap definition while collaborating with cross-functional groups to optimize architectures based on performance, technical risk, cost, and availability. Your daily work involves partnering with the manufacturing industry, foundries, and OSATs to move solutions from concept to high-volume manufacturing. You will solve technical issues throughout the product development cycle and drive new material development and specifications. Required expertise includes substrate technology, manufacturing processes like Cu plating, lithography, dielectric materials, laser via formation, and solder resist. Proficiency in Cadence Allegro platform tools and design for manufacturing is required to develop electronic packaging solutions for internal and custom external components.
