As a Substrate Technologist within the Hardware Technology Packaging team, you will own and drive sophisticated package selection, new-generation product package structure, and configuration optimization. You are responsible for the design, technology, manufacturing, reliability, and future roadmap of Apple Package substrates while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal performance. Your daily work involves leading RFSIP package substrate development, pathfinding technology, and roadmap definition while working with foundry and OSAT partners to move solutions from concept to high-volume manufacturing. You will solve technical issues throughout the product development cycle and drive new material development and specifications. Required expertise includes knowledge of Cu plating, Lithography, Dielectric materials, Laser via formation, Solder resist, and Cadence Allegro platform tools for design review for manufacturing. This role addresses critical electronic packaging solutions for internal and custom external components.
