What you'll do

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based physical training programs to improve strength, conditioning, and injury resilience.
  • Provide instruction on movement mechanics and demonstrate proper exercise techniques for personnel.
  • Manage individualized and group training programs in garrison, field, and deployed environments.
  • Coordinate with Human Performance staff to manage safe return-to-duty pathways for injured personnel.
  • Collaborate with Sports Medicine professionals to transition athletes from rehabilitation to performance-based activities.
  • Partner with nutrition and cognitive performance teams to provide a holistic approach to human performance.
  • Develop facility standard operating procedures, training protocols, and safety guidelines for equipment use.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe training facilities and equipment.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in exercise science, health science, or physical education (Master's preferred).
  • Must hold current NSCA certification as a CSCS or SCCC through CSCCA.
  • Must have a current certification in basic CPR including AED training.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with individual or group athletes.
  • Must be physically proficient to demonstrate exercises and perform tasks in austere environments and rough terrain.
  • US Citizenship.
