What you'll do

  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based strength and conditioning programs for personnel in various environments.
  • Provide expert instruction on physical training, specific exercises, movements, and injury avoidance techniques.
  • Manage the administrative duties and quality assurance functions for the physical training program.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals to manage the transition from rehabilitation to performance-based activities.
  • Design and document training protocols tailored for personnel in garrison, traveling, or deployed locations.
  • Develop facility standard operating procedures and guidelines for the safe use of equipment.
  • Ensure all fitness equipment and facilities are organized, clean, and maintained in safe working conditions.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in exercise science, health science, or physical education (master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with athletes at the NCAA Division I, Olympic, professional, or SOF levels.
  • Must hold an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or CSCCA Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) certification.
  • Must have current certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
  • Must be physically proficient to perform prescribed exercises and meet the physical demands of training with SOF personnel in austere environments.
  • US Citizenship.
