Staff WLAN Systems Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform end-to-end system-level testing of Qualcomm WLAN chipsets and software across multiple product verticals.
• Define test scope, design test plans, and develop scenarios based on wireless specifications.
• Develop and enhance automated test scripts using internal proprietary automation frameworks.
• Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and manage defect tracking via JIRA or similar systems.
• Analyze system logs to identify issues and document technical recommendations for software teams.
• Contribute to Change-Based Testing, auto-triage, and zero-touch automation pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide high-level test strategy decisions.

What we're looking for

• A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is accepted.
• Experience performing end-to-end system-level testing of WLAN chipsets and software across multiple product verticals.
• Ability to interpret wireless specifications and define test scope, plans, scenarios, and procedures.
• Proficiency in developing and enhancing test automation scripts using internal proprietary frameworks.
• Experience performing root cause analysis (RCA) on test failures and managing defects via bug tracking systems like JIRA.
• Ability to conduct log analyses to identify system-level issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Capability to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and guide test strategy decisions.
