Wireless System Automation and Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop automation frameworks and test infrastructure for validating wireless and PHY systems across RF and baseband domains.
• Create automated test strategies based on technical specifications to identify validation gaps and resolve complex system issues.
• Build equipment drivers, control interfaces, and intelligent test sequences for silicon development.
• Perform regression testing throughout the silicon development lifecycle to ensure performance standards are met.
• Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and improve overall test methodologies.
• Monitor critical parameters including Power Accuracy, Spurs, EVM, Sensitivity, Desense, and MIMO performance.
• Develop tools for traceability, repeatability, and reporting using Git, CI/CD, and database systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, specifically WiFi (cellular technologies experience is a plus).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++/C# for test automation.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred).
• Deep understanding of key performance indicators and impairments in RF and baseband domains (preferred).
• Hands-on experience testing wireless silicon in laboratory environments (preferred).
• Proficiency with RF test equipment including signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers (preferred).
• Experience developing test automation, infrastructure, and using tools like Git, CI/CD, and databases (preferred).
