Staff Solution Sales Engineer - Confluent serves as a key technical advisor within the Customer Success Team, driving early-stage evaluations and long-term value realization for customers. You will partner with Account Executives to identify business needs, develop technical designs, and lead Proofs of Concept to overcome complex roadblocks. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions, delivering technical workshops, and providing hands-on guidance to improve the operational maturity of Confluent deployments. The role requires expertise in event-driven architecture, data integration, cloud migration, GitOps, and Kubernetes. Candidates must be proficient in Java, Python, or SQL and possess experience with database and warehouse technologies. You will solve complex problems related to data streaming use-cases while acting as a product advocate across the ecosystem to ensure customers successfully adopt new patterns and achieve technical success.
