Senior Solution Sales Engineer - Confluent serves as a key technical advisor within the Customer Success Team to drive value realization and adoption of Confluent technology. You will partner with Account Executives to identify business needs, develop technical designs, and lead Proofs of Concept for data streaming use-cases. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions, delivering technical workshops, providing hands-on guidance on deployment best practices, and analyzing consumption trends for optimization. The role requires expertise in event-driven architecture, data integration, cloud infrastructure, GitOps, and Kubernetes. Candidates must be proficient in Java, Python, or SQL and possess experience with database and warehouse technologies. You will solve complex technical roadblocks by translating high-level business goals into scalable architectures while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders ranging from developers to executive leadership.
