What you'll do

Select and integrate aircraft engines, components, and fuel systems for unmanned aerial vehicles.
Design, fabricate, and test prototype components and control systems.
Plan, instrument, and execute tests of aircraft propulsion systems.
Coordinate with engine vendors to develop strategic partnerships and manage development projects.
Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
Perform CAD design for internal aerodynamic loft, surfaces, and structures.

What we're looking for

Must have 12+ years of propulsion engineering experience on manned or unmanned air vehicles.
Must have professional experience with jet engines in the 1,000-20,000 lbf thrust class.
Must possess knowledge of jet engine fundamentals and experience using engine cycle decks.
Must have experience testing engines or powertrain components.
Must have experience designing mechanical parts and surface loft using CAD.
Must have an understanding of manufacturing methods including machining, sheet metal, composites, 3D printing, and injection molding.
Must hold a BS degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
