What you'll do

Perform full-cycle PCB design including schematic capture, high-density layout, component selection, and board bring-up.
Design and optimize flight controller circuits, power distribution systems, and motor controller electronics.
Conduct rigorous circuit simulations, worst-case analysis, thermal analysis, and DFMEA to ensure reliability in extreme environments.
Lead comprehensive testing phases including Design Verification Testing (DVT), qualification testing, and functional testing.
Perform root cause and failure analysis to support engine test and field operations.
Manage key vendor relationships to ensure the performance of propulsion-subsystem electronics.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
10+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
Strong engineering fundamentals across Analog, Digital, and Power Electronics.
Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and high-density PCB layouts.
Proficiency with LTSpice or equivalent tools for circuit simulation.
Competence with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal chambers.
Familiarity with standard interfaces such as CAN, I2C, SPI, and Ethernet.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
